 A thrilling slide of Grenache, a crackling cavalcade of southern grape varieties, a gentle wild ride for our (re)drunken throats. Not forgetting that little nose of wild strawberry, musky as needed. An Empusa (2022) that is not starchy, easy, good knee-glou, which promises nothing other than a little aperitif cannon shot very loud - but it is already a nice little music, very typical of the Rhône Gardois, not very long but not devoid of a certain breadth. A beautiful little face of unpretentious wine, in IGP Coteaux du Pont du Gard, totally devourable. it also whets the liquid appetite... for a lirac or a tavel from the estate, for example? Saskia and Maurice chose the natural direction (their wines are also certified "vin méthode nature") for several vintages and their fascinating journey deserves to be followed and encouraged.
